About the Three Cooks

We're three twelve-year-old friends who love watching Just Add Magic and love eating even more. One day, one of us asked her grandmother to make a dish she remembered from when she was little — and Nani said, "Beta, I think I'm the only one who still knows it."

That made us a little sad. So we decided to do something about it.

AAD masala is our magical spellbook for old Indian recipes — the dishes grandmothers and great-grandmothers used to make that almost nobody cooks anymore. We collect them from anyone who wants to share, we read every submission ourselves, and we add them to the book so they never disappear.
